Our cellos are built entirely by hand, in the same workshop and to the same standards as our award-winning violins. Available in 3/4 and 4/4 sizes, each instrument is offered in the Stradivari, Goffriller, or Montagnana pattern and is graded according to the tonewood used — so that cellists from beginners through advanced and professional players can find a suitable instrument.

All models carry an official workshop label; the advanced grade includes an official certificate. Pricing is available on request.

Model 903 & 905

ENTRY-LEVEL HANDCRAFTED CELLOS · CHINESE TONEWOOD

Models 903 and 905 are made entirely from Chinese tonewood sourced in Sichuan province, naturally aged three to five years and dried a further year after cutting before construction. Both are fully handcrafted without CNC machinery. Within our Chinese stock, the finer wood grain is selected for the 905, while the 903 uses sound but plainer material. Available in 3/4 and 4/4 sizes, these are ideal first instruments for beginning cellists and students who need a genuine handmade cello rather than a factory product.

Model 907

FOR ADVANCING STUDENTS · MIXED TONEWOOD

The Model 907 cello combines an Italian spruce top with premium Sichuan maple for the back, ribs and neck, giving a warmer and more responsive voice than the entry-level instruments. It is fully handcrafted and seasoned over years. Available in 3/4 and 4/4 sizes in the Stradivari, Goffriller, or Montagnana pattern, it suits advancing students and intermediate cellists ready for a more refined instrument.

The Model 909 cello is made entirely from European tonewood — an Italian spruce top with Bosnian maple, from 1-star grade material aged and seasoned over years. It is fully handcrafted and finished with an official certificate. Available in 3/4 and 4/4 sizes in the Stradivari, Goffriller, or Montagnana pattern, it is intended for conservatory, professional, and orchestral cellists who require a mature, projecting voice.
